How do I play GeraRush?

GeraRush is an endless runner where your character sprints automatically through a side-scrolling world filled with Gera-branded environments — GeraEats restaurants, GeraClinic clinics, GeraMarket markets, and more. Tap or click to jump over obstacles, slide under barriers, and collect GeraCoins scattered along the route. The game speeds up as you progress. Your run ends when you collide with an obstacle. Your score is determined by distance covered, coins collected, and any bonus multipliers from active power-ups. No account is required to start playing — just open the app and tap Run.

How do I earn GeraCoins in GeraRush?

GeraCoins appear as glowing collectibles throughout each run. You also earn bonus coins for: passing distance milestones (every 500m), completing daily missions (e.g., "collect 30 coins in one run"), achieving a new personal best, and watching optional bonus reward videos after a run. Coins earned in GeraRush are synced to your Gera account within a few seconds of each run ending — provided you are logged in. Without a Gera account, coins are stored locally and can be synced retroactively once you sign up. GeraCoins earned in-game can be spent on real discounts across GeraEats, GeraClinic, GeraLearn, and the full Gera Services ecosystem.

What power-ups are available?

GeraRush has five power-ups that activate automatically when collected during a run. Shield: grants 5 seconds of invincibility, letting you run through obstacles without dying. Magnet: attracts all GeraCoins on screen toward your character for 8 seconds. Speed Boost: doubles your running speed and score multiplier for 6 seconds. Coin Doubler: doubles the value of every coin collected for 10 seconds. Second Chance: gives you one extra life after hitting an obstacle. Power-ups can be upgraded in the in-game shop using coins to extend their duration or increase their effectiveness. You can equip up to three power-ups to your starting loadout to begin each run with one active immediately.

Are my high scores saved?

Yes. High scores are saved automatically if you are signed in to a Gera account. Your top score, personal best distance, total coins collected, and run history are all stored in the cloud and sync across devices. If you play without signing in, scores are saved locally on your device. To preserve your scores if you switch phones or reinstall the app, you must have a Gera account. The global leaderboard shows the top 500 all-time scores and resets weekly for the weekly leaderboard. Your personal best is permanent and never resets.

Is there multiplayer?

Real-time head-to-head multiplayer is on the GeraRush roadmap and planned for a future update. Currently, competitive play is asynchronous: you race against the ghost of another player's best run, displayed as a semi-transparent character alongside yours. Ghost Racing mode is unlocked after your first 5 runs and lets you challenge friends by sharing a link to race against your recorded best run. Leaderboard competition — where you compete against the world for the weekly top score — is available immediately and is the most competitive format currently in the game.

Does GeraRush have ads?

GeraRush uses a minimal, opt-in ad model. There are no mid-run ads — your gameplay is never interrupted. After a run ends, you can optionally watch a short video ad to earn bonus GeraCoins or activate a Continue power-up (one per session). This is always optional — you can skip it and start a new run immediately. There are no banner ads, no pop-ups during gameplay, and no required ad viewing. We believe ads should be a fair exchange: you give time, you get something valuable. If you prefer a completely ad-free experience, a GeraGames Premium subscription removes all optional ad prompts entirely.

What data does GeraRush collect?

GeraRush collects the minimum data needed to run the game and sync rewards. If you play without signing in: we collect only anonymous game session data (scores, session length, device type) used for aggregate analytics — no personal data is collected or stored. If you sign in with a Gera account: we additionally store your score history, coin balance, and run statistics linked to your account. We do not sell personal data to third parties. Analytics are processed through our internal PostHog instance. Crash reports are sent to Sentry to help us fix bugs. Full details are in our Privacy Policy at gera.services/privacy.

Which platforms is GeraRush available on?

GeraRush is available on iOS (App Store), Android (Google Play Store), and as a browser-based web game at rush.gera.games — no download required for the web version. The iOS and Android apps support offline play (your coins sync when you reconnect). The web version requires an internet connection. The game is optimized for both touch controls (mobile) and keyboard/click controls (desktop). A smart TV version is in exploratory development. The game is free on all platforms — download the app or open the web version and start playing in under a minute.
